My name is Anna Rivière, I am a physiotherapist and lecturer.

I would like to introduce myself.

Professional experience

After graduating, I started my professional career in a prestigious private practice in Krakow, where I worked with an outstanding group of physiotherapy enthusiasts. Today, these colleagues form the “Polish Functional Rehabilitation Centre VOTUM” or the “Reha Krak Rehabilitation Clinics”. Together we exchanged experiences, looked for solutions and invested our free time in further training. We were all united by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a deep motivation to help our patients in the best possible way. I consider myself very lucky to have been part of this great team.

During my time at the practice, I have provided therapy for patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, children with poor posture and adults with pain problems and after musculoskeletal operations.

Parallel to my work as a practitioner, I also translated in English courses at the training centre for many years. This gave me the unique opportunity to learn from renowned international trainers of leading rehabilitation methods. Their comprehensive expertise, their diverse therapeutic approaches and their individual teaching methods have had a lasting impact on my skills as a physiotherapist and lecturer.

In addition to providing PNF training, I have developed the “Lucky 7” programme – seven simple rules for regulating muscle tone, particularly in the treatment of spasticity. I also launched the “Keep Your Team Fit” project for companies, in which I show employees how to maintain a healthy posture in the office.

Over a decade ago, I moved to Munich with my husband, where I once again met enthusiastic colleagues who are just as passionate about our profession as I am. At that time, I worked in a practice that specialised in TMJ therapy. Through collaboration with my colleagues and continuous training, I expanded my expertise in this specific area of physiotherapy (CMD).

At the end of 2023, I decided to take the plunge into self-employment and set up my own practice. It gives me great pleasure to invite you to my practice at Bülowstraße 9, located directly on Herkomerplatz.

Private live

Away from my job, I love to cook and enjoy travelling in the mountains. I speak fluent Polish, German, English and French. I am currently working on improving my Italian language skills, motivated by my passion for cooking.
